Matt is an experienced financial planner with over 20 years of combined expertise in retirement planning, investment planning & insurance planning.  Matt’s passion for helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals has made him a trusted advisor with his clients over the years.
 
As a retirement planner, Matt is committed to helping his clients prepare for retirement. He understands the unique challenges faced by those who are approaching retirement age and collaborates closely with each client to create a customized plan that meets their individual needs.  This includes developing a customized investment plan that considers their risk tolerance, financial goals, and overall financial situation.  
 
Matt currently lives in Traverse City, MI with his two boys.  Drew is pursuing a business degree at the University of South Carolina and Zach is currently an 8th grader.  Matt loves spending time with friends and family and enjoys being active outdoors.

Alex Mittag is a financial advisor focused on retirement planning, investment strategies, tax-efficient planning, and estate planning. He works with individuals and families to develop clear, structured strategies for retirement income and the efficient transfer of wealth to the next generation.

Prior to becoming an advisor, he worked with hundreds of financial advisors across the country to design and host educational seminars for their clients. Through this experience, he developed a strong foundation in client education and communication within the financial planning process. He earned his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and transitioned into a full-time advisory role shortly thereafter.

He currently works out of Shelby Township and maintains a Northern Michigan presence between the Buckley and Traverse City areas, where he and Matt Breimayer host educational events throughout Cadillac, Petoskey, Traverse City, Macomb, and Oakland County. He is a graduate of Siena Heights University, where he played collegiate soccer and earned a degree in marketing.

Prior to joining the team, Heidi worked for Spectrum Health Cardiovascular Medicine, in Grand Rapids, Michigan for over 25 years, performing multiple different roles. The career change has presented both new and exciting challenges for her, while still allowing her the opportunity to continue to assist and work closely with people. 

She is a Michigan native and has a daughter, two granddaughters and a Chow named Audi. Working remotely gives her the flexibility to help with aging family members, take daily walks with the dog and navigate between work and her personal life. 

When not working, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the outdoors.
